Attending marriage (Nikah)?

Ques: Assalaamualaikum. I 'M from india and v know how india is actually means OUT OF 10,000 PEOPLE v say 10-20 or more people will do nikah as per sunnah.
so my question is when we go for nikah, video graphy is there, and many kabira sins are there AND GOING TO NIKAH ceremony and sitting and eating dinner.
MUHAMMED(.S.W.S.)'s sunnah is to keep only one dish BUT THERE V SEE THERE ARE MANY DISHED(DIFFERENT KIND).I heard one aalim(tableeghi) SAYING IT IS NOT PERMISIBLE TO EAT( NOT HARAAM) BUT JUST in urdu( not pasandida) TO GO THERE AND EAT .JUST V SHOULD GIVE DAWAT AND COME.

Accepting Dawah and going for it is Sunnah in general. But if u know before that there will be haram things like videos, dances etc. u should avoid accepting it.

If u didn't know it before and accepted the dawah, then realized it after reaching there, then u should come back fast as soon as possible and keep urself away from those haram things.

But if u failed to come back even after u wanted to, for ur parents/family etc, then just keep away from those haram things and insha'Allah Allah will forgive the unintentional sins.

And as for the dishes, I think it will be khilafe taqwa.. But not makruh. So, just for this reason one should not avoid social invitations. Specially when it will spread misunderstandings among people.
